Twiitter Tools For Timmy

Today I am blatantly defying what my mentors and my students didn’t want me to do. I am giving away a lot of secrets that will take your marketing and business to whole new level. I did promise them that I wouldn’t give away the farm, but I would give away some cattle…or sheep...or whatever farm animal analogy would work well for what I am giving away. There is a lot more in my marketing system so I am not giving away everything, so my students can breath easy…for now!

I am sure you can guess from the title that I am talking about Twitter. And you would be right.

Are you getting the most from your Twitter activity?

If you answered “No” to any of these questions then you are damned lucky you know me. I am going to give you some tools that will give you more than just being on Twitter alone. These tools are free and are greater than any EBook or Twitter training will ever give you, not including the training that is within my marketing system.

The first tool is from the “Twitter Gods”. A measly little toolbar, with a plethora of gadgets, tools, blogs, articles, and more and more and more and… (Ok I’ll Stop). This one alone will help you not only use twitter better, but it will show you how to use it to market and how to make money with twitter.

Next is a little tool that I am sure a lot of you may already be using.

Tweetlater allows you to auto follow your followers and allows you to send out a welcome message when you do. It is very powerful for immediately getting out your first “hello” and maybe a little link to your blog or website or whatever you want them to see. It very cool because it doesn’t come off as pitchy when you give them a link right off the bat. It is part of the magical community that is Twitter.

Next there is a really nifty little tool

This tool allows you to find people who have the same interests as you or are talking about things you like talking about and automatically follow them. All you have to do is put in a few keywords that make you feel all tingly in your tummy and it will look for conversations and people that match them, then follow them. A word of advice, it gives you an option as to how many people to follow for each keyword or keyword set…make sure to keep it between 10 and 20. If you do any more Twitter gets pissy and hides in the bathroom and cries like a little girl.

And last is the magical little tool that is:

Tweetdeck is a handy little tool that actually sits on your desktop and lets you keep up to date with your Tweeple, (good lord the terminology is getting a little…too much), what they are tweeting, and allows you to tweet as well. All this from your desktop. It also allows you to add in your FaceBook Friends Status updates, so you can see what everyone in the free world is doing on both networks.

Well then, that is more than enough Twitter secrets to get me some hostile emails and phone calls. I think with what I have given you will keep you busy for quite a while. If you start checking these tools out and using them you will see a great increase in your leads and your marketing, not to mention your profits.

Before I end this I want to make sure you get that using all of these will not be really that time consuming. Both Tweetlater and Twollo, once set up, work by themselves. There isn’t much upkeep, unless you want to change settings, you really only have to set them and forget them. The twitter-tool-bar can be used as much or as little as you want and TweetDeck can be turned on or off at your leisure.
